Off out on my last run of this week. Going to mix it up a bit and do my route in reverse! Feeling a bit intimidated for week 5!

Good luck for W5 Elles. Just did my first run for W4, so not familiar with the W5 run, but I did feel the same about W3 and it was ok in the end. You can do it!! ❤️

A lot of runners felt the same way about Week 5. I was riddled with doubt thinking ‘this is it I’m not going to do it. But I did do it and you will too! Just take Run 3 at a slow steady pace. When ‘Laura’ tells you to run at a pace just faster than your brisk walk, if you’re flagging during the 20min run, just do that. I found that helped me at that stage and then suddenly I had a reserve where I felt ok. You can do Week 5!!!

I felt exactly the same but finished W5 in my last run and though it really was of course hard it was no more challenging on my body than previous steps up in the program, if you know what I mean.

All in all I would say that the fear of week 5 is worse than the running itself! You will do it just fine, I’m sure! Slow and steady and believe that you can!!! Good luck! 🏃‍♀️

I did W5R1 last night and it’s not much more difficult than week 4 so you’ll be fine. I’m a bit more concerned about the next run but the program has got me this far and I guess I just have to trust it. Well done on completing week 4 and good luck with week 5 x
