Completed week 4 last night, encountered my fly 'friends' again, but was actually keeping ahead of them some of time, so must be improving!

Bring on week 5 tomorrow!

Registered for Park Run too, and hopefully in September when they move back to near wear I live, and my daughter starts Uni, I'll have Saturday morning free...

Have a lovely weekend :)

Fab! Well done to you for getting to week 5 and for registering for parkrun. Flies and wasps are all over the place at the minute. I was wearing blue the other day and I'm sure this wasp thought I was a flower as it wouldn't leave me alone!

Hi HH, I'm on the Isle of Wight, guess you maybe too? Saw they do the Parkrun at Appley while Medina recovers for the festival. Might be brave and give it a go, read lots of positive things about Parkrun on this forum :)

Hi

Appley is too steep for me. Waiting till 5th Sept for return to a flatter course. I went last week as my daughter ran it. I watched lol.

Very friendly folk but I couldn't run those hills it's tough to say the least.

I run with "love running Tuesday nights" at the hospital. Lovely friendly club (free). They do 3 runs on the night for different standards xxHH

Keep meaning to go in the Newport shop and ask about the Tuesday nighters, I bought my trainers there about a year ago, at least they are getting used regularly now! Do they have a slow/beginner group? :)
