There's rain and there's rain....

A few weeks ago I posted about how much I hate running in the rain. Well today I really needed to run. My last two runs have been 'practice' runs. (There's no such thing as a bad run, right?) The time I set aside yesterday to run, the rain was bouncing off the pavement so I did paperwork instead, yes PAPERWORK!!!!!! I rolled out of bed this morning into my running gear, which I left by the bed last night and straight out the door. It was doing that half hearted drizzle thing and was pleasant and cool. I did my fastest run so far and it was great!!! Maybe rain isn't so bad after all!! Does that make me a real runner?.?

Yeah baby! 👍✔️💪👏

If you have a cap and/or hooded run jacket you're good to go come rain or shine. Running in the rain can be a God-send when it's warm and muggy as it's so cooling

It's fun too! You'll be like a kid again, splashing through puddles. Not in your best daps though obvs 😀

It was fun! It was early and there was only me, a couple of dog walkers and the park people clearing up. I havent got a run jacket. I feel a shopping trip coming on!

I'm glad you enjoyed the drizzle....it's my favourite running weather I think (although I haven't tried snow/ice yet). I did put a little jacket on but then followed advice on this forum and now just enjoy the elements...jump in a hot shower when you get home....bliss

Lightweight run jacket. Cheap as chips. Mine was 6.99 from Aldi and has a hood
