Week 4 Run 2

I have just completed week 4, run 2, and found that I had quite a bit of energy at the end and managed to go quicker for the last couple of minutes.

Is it best to keep a steady pace, or push yourself to go as quick as you can, whilst still finishing the run?

Thanks in advance

Dave

That's brilliant ... I have just completed run 2 of week 4 and did not have as much energy as you . Hope I can do 5k by the end of 9 weeks . Well done

I think that depends on your mental attitude and physical health. The goal though is to get through it, so pace yourself and then in the last couple of minutes if you feel you can push yourself a bit. But most of all, make sure you can get to the end. At this stage you are building strength and stamina.
