2 days off and feels like I've gone backwards...

Had 2 days rest as I had a busy couple of days and it really feels like I've regressed - found it so much harder to get into my stride and my pace was definitely slower last night - think I really need to run every other day.

Anyone else notice this?

2 days off is a part of the C25K routine. Also a lot of people swear that a week off improves your running - everything has a chance to heal up I guess.

I just think you just had an off day, lord knows we all get them. Don't beat yourself up over it. Your next run will be fine Fiona.

the double day off helps my shins recover :D usually do a 5k on a tuesday, just kinda easy pace with a few sprinty segments, thursday i do a longer slow fat burn between 5-10k then parkrun 5k on a saturday running my heart out :D works great for me. and about 20lbs lighter since early march

Just a bad day! Put it behind you and move on
