Found my Parkrun

I found out there is a parkrun less than a ten minute walk from me around the local country park. I've really got not excuse not to 🙂

I'm going to run the route once or twice before going along but I've registered so just need to finish those 30min runs to get my confidence up.

Off for a gentle run around Tooting common today and feeling rather excited... me, excited about exercise, who'd have thought it 😂

Definitely no excuse not to join in your local park run when you're ready. 10 minute walk will be a great warm up for you

Looking forward to it, my partner is an experienced runner who does half marathons thinks we should do the Tooting park run next week after just doing a comfortable 5.2k in 33 mins... felt a lot of progress on our run in terms of pace and comfort over the same run two weeks ago... feeling like a runner 😊

Cool. Im just back from my 6th Parkrun and first Parkrun at Marley Park in Dublin. I met up with my two sisters this morning to do the run. One of my sisters used to live in Tooting Broadway, when she was a nurse in St. Georges Hospital. Had some fun weekends around that neck of the woods many years ago. Enjoy Parkrun, it's amazing. My local Parkrun is 30 mins north of Dublin and is 3 laps of a local town park. The run today was a full 5 km course, with no laps, felt a lot longer.
