I enjoyed that run more than any other, I managed to run the whole 30 minutes with an average pace of 6.39 minutes per km and a huge smile on my face the whole way round (well, from 10 minutes in when the gremlins disappeared and I knew it was mine) people around here must think I'm nuts (I think I agree) but I don't care because I completed C25K!
Now I'm off for a shower and a well earned beer, but before I go, I have to thank everyone on here for their support, I've had a bump or two on this journey but you've all kept me going, so thank you.
This is not goodbye, nor is it the end, this is merely the beginning of my journey π

Well done ! π that's a great pace too! I look forward to reading more of your posts as your journey begins! I'm hoping to do week 9 next week, maybe a park run for graduation..
Ah well done I'm sure it's a great feeling I'm going tomorrow to repeat W9R1 tomorrow as I put my back on Tuesday which has set me back and I should've been on my last run tomorrow but il get there well done ππ
Well done buddyππΌππΌππΌππΌ I've followed your progress the whole way next to me. We are running very similar pace too. I agree, some of the drivers passing me today definitely thought I'd lost it. Near the end, after my podcast failed I had some random downloaded bit of Radio 2 on so at mercy of the track selection. The Troggs, Wild Thing came on. Running, grinning, crooning and generally behaving rediculously. Had it not been before 8 am they may have thought I was drunk!!
Thanks for being there for me. Let's move forward together, like you say, this is the beginning and not the endππππ¨π¦
I've just been relaxing enjoying a couple of glasses of wine whilst watching Radiohead at Glastonbury. Not a beer, but a couple of glasses of wine to celebrate your success. OOOppppsss, I have a Parkrun tomorrow, time to go to bed.
Enjoy your parkrun, and let us know how you got on.
I'm considering doing my local parkrunnext week but I enjoy the solitude from running solo so I'm not sure if it's for me. But I guess I've got to try to know for sure
