Poorly ankle

Soooo tomorrow would be week 7 run 2 for me but I'm visiting a friend in Norwich until late Saturday and I managed to twist my ankle on the last run so I'm gonna give myself a break til sat/Sun to rest up and get back on track.

I'm sulking a little at having to press pause for a few days but whilst my ankle is only a little tender I really don't want to make it worse!

Oh no! That is such bad luck. hope that you are not in too much pain, and are able to keep moving on your ankle. Wise decision to rest it for a few days. But a few days off will not adversely affect your running.

Thanks MarkyD :) it's not too bad but I have dodgy ligaments so I think I've just pulled them a little by being too enthusiastic ;)

Very sensible - it is easy to get hung up on 'run days' but listening to your body is so important too! Rest up and only run when it feels pain free. Good luck!

Very sensible. If in doubt about when to restart try the hop test. If you can hop you can run ;)
