Beat those gremlins

Thanks to all your encouraging words yesterday I have got back out there this morning and completed W7R1. Still found it very hard work but I did it which is the main thing. Changed my route today as well which was great. A lovely scenic run along a canal. Will try to get run 2 in over the weekend - almost (but not quite!) looking forward to it πŸ˜‰

Big well done to you for beating those gremlins!

The runs are tough aren't they? I'm just getting ready to do my third 25 minute run and still have doubts!

So glad you are feeling more positive 😊

Yes I'm struggling with the 25 mins but today's was a bit better than my week 6 Run 3 so I'm hoping just to keep plodding on and at some stage for it all to fall into place. Hope your run 3 goes well πŸ‘

Thanks. It was hard but once I was the door I just did it !! I will have a rest day before attempting run 2 - thanks Oldfloss πŸ‘

Brilliant. Well done. I think it is meant to be hard work as we build up our running strength. But you did it that's what matters.

It's getting cooler in London now so I may even run tonight. If not then tomorrow morning for definite.

We are so close now. We have to see it to the end. Good luck with your weekend run.

Well done. Every run is its own challenge, but just getting out of the door can sometimes prove to be a barrier as well. We all have times we don't feel like it. But you put that to the side and did it!!

I agree with Hidden in that it is meant to be hard work. I commute past my running route and I still can't quite believe I can actually run that distance when I drive past in the car. But we are all still new to this and we have years of believing we can't to eradicate, one run at a time.

I must try to remember it's meant to be hard. When I'm running my gremlins convince me that I am the only one finding it hard work - that clearly isn't the case at all. Thanks again for all your support πŸ˜€

I agree - it really does seem a long way when you drive past in the car! My husband often asks what would I say if someone told me say 6 months agoI'd be running that distance .....I'd have said they were off their rocker!
