We were talking about this t'other day. What do you like? I was saying. I find myself strangely atttacted to country tunes which I don't normally bother with, e.g. Lyn Andersen Rose Garden, Stand by your man, Jolene, Mississippi

I love Freebird, Baba O,Riley, one Republic Love Runs Out, Go-Go's Head over Heels. I think Footloose is a MUST 😃 Land of a thousand dances is fun

Thank you. I like country too. Ward Thomas are a new brand I've found.

Have you tried the Sami Murphy podcasts on the Bridge to 10 K programme? You don't have to follow her instructions to run or walk, just listen to the music....that's what I do anyway...it's in the pinned posts somewhere...

Thank you will try that out. Shame the app with BBC connections doesn't suggest things.

Or try Spotify. They have lots of playlists that might appeal or try something unfamiliar; I've had some real ear opening runs; who knew songs had got so rude!!!!

I also run with podcasts and audiobooks. In the right frame of mind they distract, entertain and educate me which is helpful now that runs have got longer.
