recovery run

i'm following ju ju's plan to get to 10 k ( well an approximate plan using time not distance .

they call the first run of the week the shortest one (20 min) a recovery run which seems strange to me as its the first run perhaps i'm looking at it a different way.

Was wondering should i run this at a normal pace or try a little faster .

thanks brian

"Recovery run"

The clue is in the name.

"Speed session" is the one that involves running faster.

i did think that but all so thought the recovery would be at the end of a week not the begin though i suppose it is the run after the longer one of the week even if its the first run of a new week :))))

Recovery comes after hard work. Where you place those things within the calendar week is up to you.
