Life got in the way last night, so was out tonight before “something” needed my time!
Had a bit of a tech issue which resulted in not recording the first half of the run.... The second recorded half said 9 mins - 1.3km @ 6.52/km....... a huge difference to the 8.10 I ran on Monday (to make sure I could get to 5km)
First Parkrun on Saturday, so interested if I can a) get around and b) what time I’ll put up!
The gauntlet is down - next report on Saturday afternoon!

Have spoken to a few people who say they are brilliant - i have a 19yr old too and if he does it with me....... I tend to be faster when running with him.
Darn tech! Sounds promising anyway. Park run sounds fab! You are very brave doing park run. Sounds really exciting. Have you checked out the course? Is it hilly?
You don’t have to be brave to do Parkrun _SimonT. It’s very supportive and there is no pressure to go fast or run the whole distance. I recommend everyone tries it at least once . I did it as my first post grad run and loved it
Good luck for a week on Tuesday, Oldfloss . We’ll all have everything crossed that the MRI brings whatever the best news possible is. Glad to hear you are still keeping fit. ❤️
If your son doesn't go with you...I'll be virtually running right there alongside you! See you Saturday 🏃♀️🏃♂️👍 What time is yours? Mine starts at 9.
Well done getting out again last night, LoungeLizaard . And good luck with your first Parkrun. You’ll love it. The volunteers and other runners are all really friendly and supportive. Just remember to print off and take your barcode with you to get an official time. 😊❤️👍
