Hi everybody,

Please feel free to share your runs here and chat about how it's all going,

Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.

If youre a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy week,

Juju, RFC and Pops

Had to take a break for a week. I had just finished week 7 when I was struck down with man flu 😷 And also strained a muscle in my lower back. I went for the first run of week 8 on Thursday thinking I was ok. I was sore for 4 days afterwards. I'm feeling good again today although my voice has still not come back 100%. I am planning on doing week 8 run 2 this evening. Wish me luck.

I'm feeling good today after yesterday's run. But tonight I'm doing the Agility badge with my Brownies, and can't help feeling I will have to lead by example. Oh dear! On the bright side, my main actual involvement should just be the warm up and cool down, and a three-minute aerobic exercise sequence... I can probably manage that... ;)

I hope it went well?

It did, thanks 😊 Lots of fun with the agility bit, then a campfire with marshmallows. And it didn't rain, and wasn't too hot. Who could ask for a better evening? :)

This week I'm away for work again, this time in South West of England. Got up early before my transport came to complete W3R2 on local park, feeling pleased 😀 Happy running everyone!

First run in the real world this week and with company, 5.2km in 34 mins or so. It made a nice change from bashing the mill and was only the second time I'd covered 5K in a session :)

Just finished W7R1 and feel really good, went extra slow as I had the long run (for me) Sunday mentioned above. I actually got to the end feeling really good and that I could have kept on to half an hour, definitely a landmark week.

Great work- I got to around week 6/7 and just felt like it clicked and that on some runs you could have done a bit more. Hope this feeling continues for you too!

W7R2 done, felt really good and managed to run a little quicker for the last 8 minutes, never thought I'd be able to run for 25 mins let alone run for 25 mins and feel like I still had some time left in my legs :)

Just back from holiday in Sardinia and Corsica - did several tourist runs there. Beautiful beachfront runs - under two months from graduation and there I am running on my hols coz I didn't want to miss out! How times change! 😆

Can I just say how much I don't want to go running tonight, given how warm it is today! I will go anyway (I think!), but am not looking forward to 22 mins. On the bright side, I can't go til at least 9pm due to Gymnast Daughter needing the maternal taxi service, so that helps... ;)
