Parkrun in Montreal starting next Saturday!

The first official parkrun in Montreal will be starting next Saturday at Park Frederic Back. Hopefully it will take off as others have elsewhere.

I went to a volunteer training yesterday morning where we learned the various roles and walked the course. I'm looking forward to volunteering next week (nervous) . A historical day! I can't wait to run the course as well. 🏃‍♀️

More and more parkruns are popping up around Canada. Anyone visiting this part of the country should drop by for some parkrun tourism. 😊

Ahhhh you'll be great! What position are you volunteering for? When will you run it?!?

Most likely Marshall. Seems to be less stressful. Not sure when I'll run, it depends on the amount of volunteers. Hopefully within the next month. Right now I think there might be more volunteers the 1st week than runners.
