Was just wondering whether to do my first Park run next week. I was thinking of completing my WK7R1 (all being well) then walking the rest. I'd love to just see what it's all about. Any thoughts on this? Thank you lovelies 😊

I'm going to go for it πŸ‘πŸ» Do I register the club when I register for Parkrun as I did that a while ago. Can I edit that info?

Go for it. I've been off running for months, but as soon as I can manage W1R1 I'll be back at Parkrun. We have people that walk 100% of the route at ours. It's fun, it's friendly.

I've been doing parkruns for the last 8 weeks. I'm on w5r2 and always walked them. Now I incorporate my third training day on the Saturday park run. I start by Doing the programme then what's left of the parkrun I either run or walk depending on how I feel. All I came say from experience of them is make your mind up from the start whether to stick to the programme or go all out to get a good time. It's a great experience and everyone is so encouraging I love them. My Pb has gone down from 45 mins to 39.07 for the 5k parkrun doing the programme. Go for it. It's amazing. You'll love it and we'll done xxxx
