I was so nervous on my first run, really self conscious and thought more about other people than myself.
Then I realised no one's actually looking at me, and actually everyone looks a bit silly when they run anyway! Everyone wobbles and flaps, and looks like they're being chased by no one
I'm on week 6 now, and have a feeling I run a bit like a T-Rex, but I don't care anymore!!!

Oh yes I am a T Rex! I did notice 2 very red people today during my run and one looked like they were "concerned" but my thought was " that looks another one of us". So to all you self conscious people out there - if you are notice- it might be good
I gave up on caring years ago - I am fat but know I am a good (even v good swimmer - less clothes than running - just for me lol) anyone that challenged/ laughed at me would get not "see you outside" but "see you in the water" . Sorry that sounds bit aggressive - well have you seen Eastenders?
I ran today with a really experienced runner who has done amazing stuff, and I took the piss out of her style the whole way. We even discussed how watching the elite pack at the front of marathons - the best runners in the world - their styles are so different it looks like the Ministry of funny walks. No-one looks graceful running other than me, and I am always running carrying a big camera on a selfie stick which is just like HELLO LOOK AT ME I'M A WEIRDO!
But y'know... the muggles have to have something to enliven their day.
Yes! I am getting a real buzz from knowing I CAN do it, and I can take myself wherever I want. I wish I'd known about it years ago. And it surprised me when I started, just how many other people are out doing exactly the same as me! Isn't it fantastic?
