I am so annoyed at myself .. πͺ
Really didn't think it would bother me , I had to stop for a 3 minute walk after 12 mins , and then carried on !
I couldn't do the straight 25 minutes .. hoping. Run 2 is better

You could do the straight 25 minutes, because you've done it before! You just didn't do it this time. And you'll do it again, keeping it slow and steady -- yes, even at Week 7.
Ok, firstly don't be hard on yourself and secondly remind yourself that you can run for this length of time as you have completed week 6 so you can do it. It does take about 10 minutes to settle in to a run to make sure your breathing is sorted and that your body is relaxed. I also struggled with this run but got there in the end by setting myself mini targets of run to a point (a tree, a driveway, a path for example) then pick another point to continue the run before you know it you aren't thinking about the time just the smaller goal and hey presto 25 minutes has passed.
Have a relax and a rest day tomorrow and then go out with a fresh mind for the next run, and enjoy.
Thanks.. maybe the heavy rain made it harder ?
You can do this, you already have done it before!
We dont use the 'f' word on here, you had a practice run ready for your next run, and you will smash it! Positive thinking and good vibes heading your way from hereπππΌ
As Millsie-J says.. we try not to use the 'f' word... It was a blip, a practice, a set back..
Slow right down, and then slow down some more The rain won't have helped, but you were out there and you ran...
You can do this... so next time out, squish the gremlins with every slow and steady step
You can do it - it was a massive achievement even stepping out into today's weather.
I suspect that there aren't many people who get through the entire program without one or two practise runs. Don't be hard on yourself, you've got this far, you will get through it.
I thought we had banned the "f" word. Focus on what you have achieved and look forward (my need this advice myself in a couple of weeks).
