Signed up for a virtual run 🏃‍♀️☺

My friend and I have signed up for a virtual run with racethedistance.com. It is a 5k run any time in July and comes with an ice cream medal. A proportion of the entry fee goes to Cancer Research UK.

Being as I haven't yet run 5k (my furthest so far since graduation is 4km), and have struggled with running regularly due to health issues, it will be a challenge. But I'm also aiming to start Parkrun in July, so will give me some incentive!! 🏃‍♀️🍦🏃‍♀️🍦

Great decision to spur you on! And there is nothing stopping you do the virtual run as your parkrun, one and the same.

You can get to 5k, just slow and steady!

That was my thinking too!! Just have to hope I can run at least twice a week throughout June!
