Any recommendations please, I need 'in ear' ear phones that STAY IN.

Hey folks

I have several sets of 'in ear' ear phones, those that were part of the mobile phone package and those that I purchased separately.

Yet all of them always seem to ooze out. I've even got the smallest ones too, but on my first ever run, they kept falling out πŸ˜•

Oh please can someone help? Thank you guys 😊

I wear a head/sweat band to hold my ear phones in; could that work for you?

Apparently your ears are as unique as your fingerprints! So we all have interesting ears! 😁

Same here. I hold mine in with a headband too. Well, a folded down buff actually.

I just use cheap poundland ones that go over the ears and in. I have better ones which I use for everything else but theyre useless on runs lol

jvc jogging ones do the job for me perfectly - they have an adjustable hook over top of ear - ebay has loads of them

I use the old school type in ear phones-any brand will do and they don't need to be expensive. The ear bud type won't stay in my ears if I'm sitting down let alone running!!!

Bear in mind that what you need is earphones that will stay in when you are only using one of them.

Well said - I only wear one as I run on a quiet country road with no pavement and need to hear cars coming. The one not being worn tends to drag the other one out - so I end up not bothering with music at all and running definitely feels easier with music. πŸ˜…

No earphones stay in my ears and I use these running earphones. Philips SHS4700/10 Mid range EarClip Headphones - Black (amazon.co.uk/d/Headphones-E... They have thin hooks that go over your ears like glasses. You can get some that still have in-ear pieces but these have small headphones about the size of a 50p piece and I find these are the most comfortable.

I could never get any earphones to stay in so a couple of weeks ago Aldi had Bluetooth ones for 9.99. They were perfect you can still buy them online aldi.co.uk/maxtek-bluetooth...

I use "Betron MRJ1060 Bluetooth Headphones Earphones,Waterproof, Designed for Sports, Gym, Fitness, Secure Fit, Built in Mic (Black)" that I bought from Amazon. I use them for everything including some heavy duty gym workouts and they're fine. Good quality music/instructions still and stay in place πŸ‘

I've got some JVC sports earphones with a little hook that sits inside yourear. They cut out much more of the outside noise than I'm used to, but they don't fall out!

I have the bose sport ones. They were super expensive (over £100) but I chose them before running, for the amazing sound quality and the fact they are so comfortable!! They have special "stay in" tips and they really don't budge. I always struggle with in ear ones. I've had them for a few years now and when my little cat chewed the wire... Bose replaced them for free ☺️.

Also - if you buy earphones from John Lewis they will actually accept returns even after you have used them. I bought a few pairs from there and took the other ones back that didn't fit/weren't good quality.

I had terrible hassle finding ear plugs my ears are small and I couldn’t wear the over ear ones either they kept falling out. I got bone conduction ones for my birthday a bit pricey but perfect for me and you can hear traffic etc around you x

Hi, i picked some up in tkmaxx for Β£12.99, hypergear marathon. They have different ear buds so you just select the one that fits for you

Oh God I feel your pain! I've had terrible problems finding ear phones that stay in - way before I started this programme - I thought I must have really weird ears. It's so frustrating when all you want to do is plug yourself in & get going. Not keep stopping/starting to fiddle around with headphones. I'm afraid I resorted to the really expensive Bose in ear ones. Persuaded husband on a short fuse to buy me some as an anniversary present a few years ago. Have to say they are well worth the price but the link oldfloss has sent you seems a much better option! I might have a look myself. My problem is my hair getting in my face. It's quite short & I do clip it back but then little bits escape & tickle my face - drives me mad! Hope you find something suitable.

Aww, thank you Hidden I'd forgotten about this thread. I'm still on the lookout too. I'm going to check them out. My hair is growing now and I sympathise with straying hair whilst running, I think I'd need lots of clips to keep it off my face too. Good luck and thanks x
