Got new trainers today in order to complete my couch to 5k quest.

So far they are feeling very comfy and with the heel support that I'd like, hopefully will ease shin-splints as I tend to get them when running.

look at me all running and stuff, still feels like a mission though.

Heading into week 4 on Saturday with my jogging partner

My furry running partner is called Rosie, she's a 2 year-old bernese mountain dog.

She likes coming out when I go on the bike too, loads of water and lots of breaks as she's a big fluffy thing.

I was running the other night and came across a field of jumpy young cows. It must have been the thunderous approach. They felt it through the ground and ran off. That or the red face and sweaty steam coming off me.

I recognised your dog breed. We have a huge one locally, and he comes to my house sometimes with his owner. Lovely dogs but I'd rather keep one for a week than a fortnight. They are lovely running pals though. A tired dog is a good dog I always think

Have fun!!!!!

running socks also make a surprising difference with regards to aches and lower leg pains, worth the investment IMHO

My girl is small-ish for the breed, still comes in at about 36kg though. Running is a better pace for her. She's no problem at all :D likes to come along with her daddy doing outdoors stuff.

Getting running socks when i can get to the shop, my feet hurt if they get sweaty too like wet/dry.
