So Last Thursday I started!! I must admit that I only walked the whole way through but its a start. Ive done week 1 day 1 twice now and hope to carry it on until I can actually feel myself *jogging* (loosely put!) Id like to be able to do the full 5k within time however, for now I'm happy that I started and got off the couch!!

Well done for starting. It's the hardest bit. You're right about the speed, just keep it very slow. Don't think about the 5K. Very few people graduate having reached that distance. I know the programme is called Couch to 5K but the goal is to run continuously for 30 minutes. Not so catchy. Hence the C25K.
Run slowly, stretch after every run,take your rest days and repeat runs if you need to.
