Hi everyone, what a great place this is!
I'm just starting out but week 1 is in the bag! πͺπΌ
Daftly proud of myself for 1. walking into a gym on my own and 2. Finally taking control of my health & wellbeing.
Feeling motivated and very inspired by all the people attempting this & for those that have now graduated & hoping my knees are going to hold out.
I do think I'm hooked already!

You will be fine... I love your name tag.. it was eating things like tartiflette, in 2015 on a 7 week French holiday, that set me out on this C25K journey
Reblechon, lardons, onions... oh yummy!!!

haha it's possibly the best food combo in the world! Hate to think what it's done to my arteries as well as my waistline!

So you should be! A great achievement. I am almost envious of people starting out as they have no idea the wonders that await them!

Good for you...I was a bit worried about my knees at the start but they seem to have held out. Here's to healthy addictions!

Congratulations!
You should feel proud of yourself - i think the hardest step is getting out the door so well done you.
I start week 2 run 1 tomorrow - so am still relatively new, but totally enjoying the experience (its a bit addictive).
Make sure you get your rest days - you will probably feel it in your legs a bit tomorrow.
Good luck!

Well done - you've made a great start! This programme is excellent, and as you've already discovered, this forum is incredibly helpful and supportive. Best of luck with your running. ππͺ

Thank you! I'm feeling anxious now going into the gym on a Saturday when it'll be busy. Big breaths, baby steps & all that.

You'll be fine - most people will be looking at themselves in the mirrors! xx

Haha there was a bit of that going on alright! Felt a bit self conscious going in but it was fine (& felt great afterwards!)
