Felt like I could run forever after 10 days on the couch!

After a couple of really hard runs prior to being diagnosed with a chest infection and 10 days on antibiotics I wasn't really expecting much today. Even though it was week 9 run 1 I just told myself it would be a practise run to get myself back into it. Ran dead slow but suddenly realised when I got halfway I was going to do 30 minutes! I felt like Forest Gump - I could have run forever! I even sprinted the last bit!

I RAN FOR 30 MINUTES!!!!!! Well chuffed!

I've just been through the same thing, I think the combination of 10 days rest, 10 days frustration and the euphoria of feeling well at last is a powerful combination :)
