Probably one of the hardest things I have had to do, especially knowing I was about to graduate but I persevered and completed my last race. A couple of years ago, I couldn't go round our local park (2.3 miles) without stopping at least 5/6 times. Somehow, i was able to run for 30 minutes. I had my Nike Run Club App run at the same time and covered about 4.39km. I think I am going to carry on doing 30 minutes run to build endurance till I am comfortable enough to hit 5k. Big thanks/love to the community, all the best and be safe my fellow runners.
Blessings x

Congratulations! Did you use a guided run? Coach Bennett has a few runs of the right lengths for you... and there’s a guided 5k or two for when you’re ready... his coaching really rocks.
Celebrate well, enjoy that consolidation work and all your future running adventures
Awww big thank U! I just set the timer to 30 minutes :), nice one for the Coach Bennett recommendations, the Nike app really looks interesting. I reckon it will be my go2 app going forward, big thanks for the encouragement. All the best.
Amazing, huge congratulations RunningT5k, that is fantastic. It's so nice to read the graduation posts but even more so to have some good news to read.
Enjoy celebrating this evening, you definitely deserve it.
