Argh the heat!

Any tips?! Even at 6am it's 14° here...

Also, just completed week 4, found this run a bit harder than 2nd (but not as tough as 1st!) I can't run now until at least Monday am...worried I'll struggle with such a gap after today.

Make sure you're well hydrated, run when it's cooler early morning or later in the evening, run very very slowly, run in the shade where you can and if it's really hot, dip your head in water before you go out. This keeps your core temperature down for longer.

Don't worry about the gap. It took me six months to do this programme with much bigger gaps than that! There's no hurry and the roads/fields/gym will be there on Monday.

Well done for getting to week 5 🙂

Take her majesty's advice and just take it slow and steady..:) You will be fine on Monday... I only climbed off the IC on Tuesday and did my first run in a week.. it was fine..just be aware and go gently :)

I agree with IP, soak your hair before you go out, and I carry a wet cloth for face and neck wiping.
