Well, day one for me anot I'm a little apprehensive if I'm honest.

At the moment I'm using Samsung Health which has helped quite a bit, record everything I eat, make sure I go to bed on time though getting up at 7 isn't really working as I'm still getting up about 6am and make sure I do 11,000 steps per day.

11,000 seems a lot, but it's fairly easy if you do a few walks and use the car less.

Joined a rambling group every other Sunday and made some new friends so a plus there.

In fact since I've been trying to lose weight everything is a plus really.

Lost 1.5 stone in two months so pleased with that, I'm gonna need a new wardrobe soon.

Walk to work and back 4 days a week which is 11 mile in total a day.

I've been reading some of the posts and they are very inspiring.

I'll update in a week. Currently weigh 216 lb so I'll see where I am next week

Good luck everyone

Hardest bit done ... you've started. Well done. I've used MyFitnessPal as my weight-loss tool, it does similar things to your program. Over a year or so I've lost over 2 stone in weight, gradually changed my entire eating habits. I was 215 lbs when I started. The weight loss and the exercise ... even friends and family have noticed a slimmer more lively me! Keep posting here it's my place for inspiration and support, even when I'm having bad days.
