Did this around my house for the first time (park for the first and second runs). Trying to find a circular route on the flat (lots of hills round here!)
Used MapMyWalk it was 3.57k in 32.51 mins avg 9.12 and 6.12 on the 8 runs
Still feel self conscious about being seen by neighbours, school kids etc so waited til they'd gone this morning! Cold and breezy out there!

Forget the neighbours, forget timings and distance.. you just run
Many of us live in hilly areas, and believe it or not.. you will learn to love the hills Well maybe not love... but at least quite like We do learn to embrace them, like the weather... just an added treat for our daily running.
At this stage, keep it slow and keep it steady.. the sure way to reach Graduation is by taking it at a gentle pace.
Planning out a route is great and as you go on, you will maybe want to venture onto different routes as the runs get longer.
Well done you!
" Self confidence is the best outfit... Rock it and own it!
Keep going, you are doing fine. Try not to feel self conscious, just remind yourself about the benefits of running and how good you will feel when you get to week 9
