Ponytail problem!

I have long hair that I tie back in a ponytail, it is easier and comfortable. When I need a headtorch or a beanie on, hair clips just don't work for me. I always admire runners as I look out of the car window when my husband is driving. There is one type of female runner who totally impresses me - they usually seem to have blonde hair, swept back into a ponytail that bounces around flamboyantly. My hair just hangs limply as if it is resting while my body does all the hard work. What can I do to liven it up? I so long to be a lively bouncy haired beauty. What can I do?

I have really short hair, so I can't help. but my daughter ( yes, she's blonde) can choose whether or not her ponytail swings! Don't you just hate her? 😀

Try the ponytail higher, i think thats what my daughter does for a flamboyant swishhhhhh

That might be it, my daughter always wears hers very high. 😀

I have blonde hair and I wear it in a ponytail...whether it swishes I'm not sure but I wear it quite high for the sole reason that the higher it is, the less it sticks to my sweaty neck 😂 The odd time it will stick to my sweaty face though so maybe it is swishing?

Thank you for sharing that! Next time I glimpse a swishing ponytail girl, I will remember "sweaty neck"!! 😀

When I had long hair a swishing pony tail drove me nuts and I had to clip it right up. Shortish now which is really annoying as it's too short to tie back. It's all such a trauma .....

Get it cropped... had mine done... mainly because small runner in training thinks it was useful to haul herself into standing position using my hair!

Love it now... especially now the weather is warming up... :)

I have to confess I do tend to roar with laughter at the Swishies. Particulary the ones in full makeup. They tend to have a particular gait as well.

A Swishy with a sunvisor and I have to pull the car over to wait for the paroxysms of mirth to subside.

Dont see many of those where I live, us northern lasses are a bit practical so the make up will only go on once, after the post run shower.
