Just wondering if anyone uses these app to map and track exercise?
Or what apps are best?

Hi Chris, I have a Fitbit One and I use the Fitbit App on my phone to track where I've been. It gives me lots of stats about speed (or not!) and height gained etc.
If you are wanting to do Couch to 5k programme then there is now an app for that. We here are all disciples of the programme 😃
I am new to this app malarky too, having just got a posh new phone. Folks definitely do use Myfitnesspal. I hear it's very good at keeping all your info together and tracking calories etc, if that's what you want to do
Running wise folks here use Runkeeper, that seems v popular, Endomondo, myasics (which is to follow a racing plan). That's as far as my knowledge goes. Oh, and Strava does an app!
I use Strava as I have friends who use it so they give me encouragement when I do a run.
It gives me a good overview of how I'm doing (PBs etc) and links with parkrun when I get that far.
Maybe ask some friends what they use so you can encourage each other?
I use Strava my brother and sister inlaw are very experienced runners and swear by Strava xx
I use the Fitbit app... and Myfitnesspal... and Zombies Run... and Strava
Think I might have an app/tracking addiction
Fitbit does all my daily movement, stairs, steps, heart rate etc
Myfitnesspal for everything that passes my lips.
Zombies Run because it tracks my run and is fun.
Strava because STATS! and the social element.
