Two Whitetail Deer were waiting for me at the very top of my run yesterday. When they run, they raise their tail straight up. The underside of their tail is snow white and it makes for a beautiful and graceful sight to see them run.
This one remained near for me to photo, as if she was posing for it. Her friend hopped the fence and is out of frame by that tree on the left side of the photo.
Usually, I see Mule Deer. Seeing two whitetails is a rare treat.
What a nice reward for pushing to the top of this hill.
