Oh wow..that is so beautiful...happy memories and fond farewells. Back home refreshed and revitalised xxx
Safe journey and welcome home Annie
Beautiful photo Annieapple, you've had great runs in Canada and loved the time with your family. Safe journey π€π€
I'm glad you had a wonderful holiday (and got to experience a bit of our Canadian winters π). Have a safe trip home.
Wow, what a landscape! It's got to be adieu, rather than farewell, am sure that you will be back!
Ah, Canada is so beautiful and hard to leave, especially with family over there. I have relations in Vancouver and am looking forward to being able to run over there next time I visit, but that won't be in ice and snow! Welcome back to ploughing through the mire over here....βπ
Oh, so sad for you leaving them. But I know you have plans for visiting other family so all is good. Safe trip home when the time comes. Take care
What an amazing and totally fantastic running experience and all whilst having a lovely family visit. Wtg πππββοΈ. Hope you have a good journey home.
Thank you π How are your consolidation runs going?
I've been mixing it up so far, as I've been using a treadmill because of the dreadful weather we've had in uk ... I'm sooo not a fan of wet π§. Strangely I'm finding the treadmill more demanding on my legs! Plus a couple of longer runs outside - including one 5k but with 2 walking breaks and one with my younger dog .... who was great. I love joffling outside ... inside is a means to an end tbh. Looking into trying some of the C25K+ podcasts soon as I'm missing the structure of the plan. You've been doing brilliantly .... amazing what you have achieved ππ. Thanks for asking.
Sounds great! Itβs good to have the option of the treadmill but even better to have a dog to enjoy the great outdoors with you! My next target is a parkrun. Feel ready for it now. Xx
5.2k - awesome π And what a dramatic and beautiful backdrop.
Safe trip home - weβll be glad to have you back among us Annie πββοΈπββοΈ But holding you in heart and mind as you say farewell to loved ones x
Fab photo Annieapple! What a lovely time youβve had - and more trips planned for the future! Your family will miss you Iβm sure, as you will miss them - but I bet there are some great memories to cling on to! Safe home - and happy running!
What amazing scenery to run through.
Hope you enjoyed every minute of it
Simply beautiful Annieapple !! Glad you enjoyed time with the family and had some wonderful and scenic runs! π¨π¦
Safe trip home Annie. I feel for you, the wrench of leaving family.
Hope the jet lag isnβt too bad, and you can get back into your running routine easily. Take care x
Glad youβve had such a wonderful time. Safe journey home. ππΎπΎπΎ
Safe journey Annie, you may find it a tad warmer here...was 8 whole degrees today and dry, perfect for a run!
Happy homecoming π πββοΈπ
It's really hard when family are so far away isn't it. I find goodbyes get harder. Well done for running in such cold conditions.
Yes... feel quite bereftπ’ & you are right the partings become more painful. However I always love coming home & have much to be thankful for. We are a close family & keep in touch on WhatsApp etc
How are you doing with your runs?
