Minor injuries...help!

Went out in a uneven field yesterday with my son and put my foot down a hole as I was jogging across it to fetch a ball! Jarred my knee and ankle and it's still sore today. I was due to do week3 run2 this morning. but don't think I should as it's a bit sore. I can walk on it but I'm worried about making it worse. It's also been uncomfortable on the front of my other ankle for a week or 2 but jogging doesn't make it worse. Any suggestions?

  • Then rest up or until it's better! don't run if your getting pain, if in doubt leave it out! the runs can wait, your health always comes first.

  • R.I.C.E. - Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. The four golden rules of recovering from minor (and indeed major) injuries.

    Hope your knees and ankles are feeling better very soon.
