Before I graduated a few weeks ago, I was a no-eye-contact, 'Pretend you don't see me, please' kind of runner. Today for the first time I noticed that I was more open to greeting oncoming cyclists and dog walkers (there weren't any other runners yet), looking for that flicker of recognition that we were glad to be out so early and sometimes smiling even if they weren't. Hope they realized I was happy and not just loony!

This is new: Hi there!
Smile as much as you want, it's your run 😁 Throw some daft shapes if you feel like it. Enjoy your runs 🙂
Yeayyyayayy... smiles are so good, they need to be shared around.. well done you! It was lovley out this morning.. bit nippy though.. there was snow!!!
Snow!... I saw that Misswobble walking her dog yesterday evening was snowed on. It must have settled... are you both in Derbyshire?
Staffordshire Moorlands... There was not much here, but enough to make this morning's run a bit nippy!
I took pikkies..hoping to put them on post on Bridge to 10K, later... I got soggy feet.. and I got very wet.( don't ask) !
Ha, what about when you are running up behind a pederstrian and they hear you coming and step to one side...and you have to smile and say, don't worry I'm not going very fast and thank them when you eventually go past smiling.
Then once you pass them you think to yourself 'I was able to speak..and run' and you run a little taller.😊
