Well done!!! That's the hardest part done, just starting.
I too am overweight (4 stone now, but it was 5 stone when I started last March). Keep and attitude of "I can do this" and you'll be fine. Use this forum lots, the people on here are amazing. Post about your runs, good or bad. They will help you through and offer you the best advice on your journey.

Just follow the programme...take your rest days and more if you need them. Other exercise on rest days could help... walking or swimming.. and some strength and flex exercises may help too.
A healthy eating regime, in conjunction with this programme is a great combination..
Listen to your body and just take it very slow and steady.... and keep posting! We are great at keeping you on target !
I too am very overweight, 1 stone off, 4 to go. I'm on week 3 and I cannot believe I am doing it. Don't give up it'll be totally worth it. I'm 42 btw.
