Well done you!! Keep going...I did my first run today too - and at 55 and a fairly long period of inactivity, it was awful!!! But I did it!! And so did you - so we should both feel very proud x
Well done. I quit smoking years ago but it was a hard battle. I don't regret it for a second. And well done on the first run. I've just done mine too and am so pleased/relieved!
Well done you 🎉🎉🎉. I did wk1r1 on Wednesday and loved it. Should add I used to run a lot in my youth, which is long gone 😢. Luckily I am fairly fit for my age. I gave up smoking in 1985 and yet every so often I get a craving..... I never give into it. Hang on in there.... you can do this 😊🏃🏽♀️🏃🏻
I gave up mid November using Champix tablets. I’ve had the odd urges every now and then. Don’t give in to them. Think about your lungs - you kinda need them. Yesterday was the first day when I walked past someone smoking outside a shop and the smell of it almost made me sick. Long may it last.
I sort of get cravings but they wouldn't actually be satisfied by smoking - I learned a few years back that my body just won't tolerate that any more. I must admit, I chew more gum than ever now (I gave up by using Nicorette gum... we didn't have vaping back then.
