Week 2 done and a Question

Hi runners, so I've completed Week two (second time around after getting to about Week 8 last time). Good to be running although a bit more huffy now, but I'll find out for sure in a couple of months whether my lung disease has got much worse, hopefully not. Anyway I was wondering during Weeks 1 and 2 is it meant to be 5 mins warm up then 20 mins run/walk, or 5 mins warm up then 15 mins run/walk?

Hi there... here is the link from C25K..are you using this one?

nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/...

Week one

Begin with a brisk five-minute walk, then alternate 60 seconds of running and 90 seconds of walking, for a total of 20 minutes.

Week two

Begin with a brisk five-minute walk, then alternate 90 seconds of running with two minutes of walking, for a total of 20 minutes.

Hope all is well for you :) x

The warm up and warm downs of 5 mins walking are always separate from the 'training' part of the session - so not counted in.
