To change things up I tried this Speed podcast today. (Lovely to be back with Laura). As far as the session goes it was good. This podcast is slow running and fast running intervals.
However, after the session my knee started playing up again (weak and wobbly) and took me back to the aches of week 4 on C25k! I’m assuming this is caused by the intervals??

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m no expert but I did injure myself doing fast intervals of quite short duration. I think it was because of the pounding. I m sure I’ll do speed intervals again but only when I’m strong. And I’ll listen to the advice of the wise ones on the bridge. Take a day or two of rest maybe ? You’ll be as right as rain again.
Oh dear - I'm sure it will be fine with a bit of rest.
My knees hurt in the early weeks of couch25k and, after a conversation with the owner of my local running shop, I think it was probably because I was overstriding. Might be something to consider? x
