Lovely afternoon for a run here, and having just started a month's trial of Endomondo Premium I thought I'd test it out on a 5K. I thought I'd vary the route partly in order to keep from having to cross busy roads - not because of the danger, more because I don't want to have to stop for the crossings!
So off I set, thinking that it was a reasonably level run having done most of it in reverse the other night - only to discover that actually, the level section was actually a slope albeit gentle! Funny how you don't notice that going down it, but you do going up.... a couple of short walk breaks (I'm beginning to think there's something in the Galloway Method!) saw me covering 5.2km including a personal record for 5K of 32:59!
Full analysis though reveals a surprising fact - I went at a truly remarkable speed at one point of 146km/h! Something tells me that the GPS had a bit of a wobble..... Now, do I trust the rest of it?
