I'm in Week 6 but a weird thing happened yesterday. I started browsing for races near me and almost (almost!) clicked to register for a 10k in October. Then I started looking at various GPS running watches and comparing prices and features.
It's a bit worrying. I don't want to jinx this feeling, and I don't want to get ahead of myself. But I really do kind of sort of feel like a runner!

Thanks Floss. Yes, best not to get ahead of myself. Only a couple more weeks till graduation. But I just realised I said I was in Week 6 and I'm actually in Week 7!
Brilliant...! (So sorry if I sound like your Mum, but best to get there in one piece )
You are doing wonderfully and when you have got that shiny badge you can come and join us on Bridge to 10 K forum, we are a really nice bunch and you will know loads of us from here The best thing is you will be able to choose how and what you do!!! x
I have entered a 4k the week after I graduate - perfect timing! And I love parkrun and really wish I could do it here, but none so far in Switzerland. I had a look at my old parkrun account yesterday too - I completed my last one in 2011 with a time of 32 min - I had completely forgotten I used to be so quick. So that's a good target to aim for WHEN I HAVE GRADUATED.
Well I bought my running watch two weeks into the programme and signed up for races before graduation too I say whatever helps to stay motivated is allowed!
I'm slowly starting to increase the distance now but I like having specific goals.
