Well I've completed w2r2 today but really struggled and don't know why.
Run1 on Saturday felt great, I really pushed myself and found it pretty good going but today, well I got thumping headache halfway through and just felt awful π I guess we all have a bad run sometimes but I don't know what changed.
Oh well, onto run 3 I guess π

Don't worry, sometimes the odd run just does feel inexplicably hard. There are so many things that we wouldn't even notice that can through us a little bit off, and it can make a huge difference. I have to wait at least three hours after eating to run, for example, any earlier and I just feel awful!
Chances are the next run will be better again and you'll feel all enthused again. Well done on keeping going, and good luck!
I think I hadn't drunk enough so got a dehydration headache. Think the app also put me off telling me how to breathe! It threw me out completely, I also didn't really plan my route either so guess it all contributed.
I won't let it put me off though and will complete week 2
In my humble opinion, you have enough to think about in only the second week of your running career without worrying about breathing - which after all your body is very strongly programmed not to forget to do! So, yes, listen to the advice in a "this is interesting" way, but don't worry about your technique at this stage. (To be honest, I still haven't begun to worry about my breathing technique a year on...!)
Well pleased to report that i completed run 3 with no problems and actually felt really good. Slightly concerned I've pulled something in my ankle but we'll see. Onwards to week 3 π
