First 5k completed on Saturday. Very very slow, at 51:58, but did it none the less.

My experienced runner brother supported me through it.

Felt like a marathon to me but so so happy to do it. Can't actually believe it.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice and support.

Well done! :) Speed will come with time as you build up your stamina. Have you graduated? I don't see your badge.

I think Millsie-J has answered about the badge.

One more thing: we slow runners actually run further at my parkrun because we are behind 800+ people at the starting line! Though they somehow take that into consideration when calculating the times.

A park run will be next challenge .

Thank you for your support.

Well done you! A slow 5k is as far as a fast 5k let us not forget!

You did really well. I am a slow runner and i know it is hard to stay motivated when so many others are so much quicker. No matter, its the same finish line! We are runners 🏃🏻‍♀️🍾⭐️🎓🏅

Thank you Jacs. That thought did actually cross my mind on Saturday, that going quicker does not make the distance any shorter! But at least I now have a time to beat! Thank you.

And we are both quicker than those on the couch every single run! Enjoy😀🏃🏻‍♀️💪🏻

I really cannot believe that I did it.

But the support on here is so good.
