After a poor christmas visiting a mortally ill in law, couldn't sleep so went for a run. Manchester is so hilly, saw a sign to a canal path so turned right and down onto the canal. After the snow and heavy frost , it was just magical, a real winter wonderland, beautiful running and fabulous happy faced.people all running past me - but hey ho. Thank you to the kind runner who showed me how to run a cattle trap. I got a pb for long jumping !! Manchester runners I salute you all
