with a VERY slow 5k, after 23 days of not running at all. Enough in the tank for more - physically and mentally - but mindful of the thin line between challenging and injured decided to stop after a lollop in the lovely, and very welcome, sun.
Happy enough...: with a VERY slow 5k, after 2... - Couch to 5K
Happy enough...
Sounds lovely pollyp1, and very sensible too!🙂 Such a beautiful day for a lollipop in the sun! I had planned to run today myself but had an achy ankle this morning ( did a lot of walking yesterday), so have postponed until tomorrow. Am having a small surgical procedure(😮) in a couple of days, so will be having a short break from running, although hopefully not for too long.🙂
Take it steady Sandra.. fingers crossed for your surgery too... x
It was thanks. I'm learning sensible (who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?).
Good luck with the op. Hopefully you won't be out for too long but even small procedures can knock the wind out of you - slow and steady...
Good going! Nice easy 5k for come back run..😊
On first reading your post I thought it read after a lollipop🍭 in the lovely and very welcome sun!😁
Nice one... it was lovely wan't it Well done you.. always a relief to get back and still feel fine x
Yeees. And the sense of excitement as I unlocked the front door to leave made me realise that I do still want to run. Always x
No... we are at our new holiday home, at Criccieth, North Wales...
I posted about my first run there.. in the post " The best thing about memories.." That run was a greyish morning..but today wow!
HURRAH!! She's back on the track ☺☺☺☺☺☺
Oh that sounds gorgeous Polly. Today was a good one for a little lollop and it's good you managed a 5K after that length of absence. You can now run toward the sunset........🏃🏃🏃🤗
Great run polly, you are truly back!
