with a VERY slow 5k, after 23 days of not running at all. Enough in the tank for more - physically and mentally - but mindful of the thin line between challenging and injured decided to stop after a lollop in the lovely, and very welcome, sun.

Sounds lovely pollyp1, and very sensible too!🙂 Such a beautiful day for a lollipop in the sun! I had planned to run today myself but had an achy ankle this morning ( did a lot of walking yesterday), so have postponed until tomorrow. Am having a small surgical procedure(😮) in a couple of days, so will be having a short break from running, although hopefully not for too long.🙂
Me too... I ran early this morning.. another one that finished with me running along the beach, this time in a glorious sunshiny morning..... pure wonderful magic
Oh that sounds gorgeous Polly. Today was a good one for a little lollop and it's good you managed a 5K after that length of absence. You can now run toward the sunset........🏃🏃🏃🤗
It was gorgeous, thanks. More so in the woods than on the pavement, but gorgeous none the less! I love the idea of running into a sunset (but I think I'd like to do it somewhere prettier!)
