to getting back into running after a break. Last week I had to walk the whole of my parkrun course (my first outing since 4th Feb) due to a dance-related pain in my left knee; on Tuesday I went out with my friend and did c25k week 6 run 2 then kept running to finish the summer parkrun course, and today I went to parkrun and ran (not quite the whole thing) like I hadn't had any time away. Aiming to be up to running the full 5k again in the next few weeks. Then aiming to get a little quicker.
And the sun was shining .

Well done. It's amazing how your body is able to get back into it. I've only ever had a short break of 2 weeks before Xmas when moving house. I worried that I may "fall off the wagon" but surprised myself that within a week was back on par with prior runs.
Bet you feel great that your back in the groove. Especially when the sun is shining. Again well done.
Well done It is great that our bodies can spring back so fast once we actually start exercising. I could not run at all for eh month of January but February saw me quickly getting back to where I was Slow and steady covers a multitude of sins
