First post, just done day 1 week 2....feel good apart from slight knee pain....30 seconds a kilometre quicker than last week....really enjoying it so far, glad I bought proper running trainers, they make a big difference
Week 2: First post, just done day 1 week... - Couch to 5K
Week 2
Well done!
But speed is not what it's about, just do the time, you're having knee pain, this can happen with newbie's, hopefully it will go away as your body gets more used to running, but you must keep the pace down, slow & steady is the way to go!😊
Good advice davelinks, I wasn't trying to run faster, just think I'm getting fitter...I'll definitely keep an eye on the pace though....in my mind I'm running like farah but the reality might be different lol
The early weeks it's hard to know how runs actually compare, as the amount of walking varies too. But yes, go at a pace where you can manage the whole run without having to stop sooner.
Good advice? Well, I have been at it longer than you, and feeling fitter after just 3 runs of c25k LOL! that's probably just the buzz! Yes, with the buzz newbies tend to get cocky and think they are Farah! Take it easy..😁
