Achieved R3 of week 6 today. What a treat, I ran with my 17 year old daughter on Mother's Day, she is pretty sporty and came with me on the 20 minute run last week as support and did the same today. It was so lovely to see her pleased and I think a bit proud of me when I did the 25 minutes. So today I became a runner according to Laura, I was looking forward to hearing her say that after reading it a few times on this network over recent weeks. On a high today!

Welcome to the running community! It must be great fun to run with your family, I'm still working on mine!

Good luck on the next 3 weeks, it's all about routine and stamina building now.

The bit about being a runner..it is a real high spot.. what a buzz we get when we hear that, don't we?

Very well done!

Keep going, slow and steady! :)

Well done. Week six is a bit of a tricky beggar but once it's done things get a tad easier

You should be very pleased with your progress. Not far to go now. Enjoy the rest of the sessions. Keep going steady and you'll be fine. Your daughter will be completely made up for you when you Graduate. Good luck and have fun

Amazing!!!! Congrats! I'm right behind you - just finished W6R2 tonight. Just started getting nervous at the thought of the 25 mins ahead, so I came here to try to find someone who'd survived it - thanks for making it sound possible!!!

Stick at it you can do it. Once you settle into a rhythm the time just passes. Stay nice and slow and steady. I did find my legs began to feel a bit tired but I wasn't in pain and I knew they weren't exhausted, I just slowed a little. Good luck and keep thinking about how great you will fee, you really will.
