I reduced my HBA1C from 12.1 to 8.2 during the period from 22-Oct-16 to 20-02-17. I want to bring it down 7.

You've done incredibly well to bring it down already.

Running can only help - weight loss, improved fitness, stamina, circulation, improved cholesterol - all things guaranteed to improve diabetic symptoms. Keep it up. I'm using cinnamon as well.

Well done, your doing great.

Hello and welcome. You have done so very well! Are you planning to begin C25k?

I am assuming you are on medication then..? If so, then the exercise will help massively..but, healthy diet is a huge part of this as you already know :)

You are doing really well. My husband is Diabetic ( Type 2) , genetic not lifestyle, but he exercises in the form of walking, ( long walks) every day. We have also for the last few years been following the Michael Mosley ( trust me I am a doctor ) eating regime, as part of what was already a Med' type eating regime.

We both of us follow it.. great recipes, ( I have the new recipe book too.. not fussy or difficult to follow) and information. We don't fast though, as that is problematic with medication...and our calorie intake is higher.. I could not function on 800 calories a day, even for 8 weeks!! Let alone run!

His blood sugar levels are really, really good, (7.5 post postprandial) he probably won't be able to reverse the Diabetes, ( too old, and it does factor ) but has not had any increase in meds for over four years..(his Diabetic Nurse is always mega impressed :) )very low dosage currently.

So... it is possible...when are you going to start the C25K programme ?? :)
