I graduated from c25K last Saturday! A very proud moment for me. So I can run for 30 minutes non stop. But still not got to the 5k though. I decided to try and run outside on Wednesday and at 2K I fell over and badly grazed my hand and arm 😫! I think I'm going to try a park run with my wife! I've entered into a 5K race in memory of my mum on 6 May....... feeling a bit nervous

Congratulations on running for 30 mins , brilliant!

Running outside is very different because you need to think of the weather conditions, camber, incline, terrain etc. But running outside is lovely, you can run anywhere and anytime.

Enjoy your parkrun, dont set off too quickly and go at your own pace. πŸ˜€πŸ’ͺ🏻

Ooops! Skin off! Hope you're not still sore :o ! You are right to be proud, as we are of you. 30 mins running is a long time. Enjoy the parkrun :) . I've got my first one next Saturday - Yikes...xx

Well done! Not many of us did get to 5k on graduation- not me anyway. And running outside is so much better- it's the real deal

I couldn't be more proud of you 😘 Xxx

Well done Ali.

Spiky told us about your fall and I hope it doesn't put you off the idea of running outside. A bit of TLC (and some Savlon) and you will be good as new. Parkrun is great fun and will definitely calm any nerves you have about your RFL.
