After the lovely 20 minute run of W5 I didn't like the intervals at all! It was like I had concrete shoes on and getting into a good breathing rhythm was tough. I'm sure it's designed like this to make you do the 25minutes at the end just so you never have to do run 1 again
Glad it's done though, I can look forward to more intervals on Thursday *sigh*

After the dreaded week 5, I thought I was invincible until week 6 came along! I did it but it made me realise I was human. By week 7 though I got over confident and kept running til I reached 5k! Realised it was very silly because I needed to stick to the programme and was careful after that. Graduation is just round the corner for you!!
I think the programme is very clever, by the time you are doing non stop running the thought of intervals fills us with dread! It felt like I never wanted walk breaks ever again. After graduation, I did have a calf pain which could have stopped me running but I reintroduced walk breaks and it got me through a difficult patch
I am so relieved to read this because it was exactly the same for me! After W5R3 I thought this one would be easy! How wrong was I? My legs feel like lead today (ran yesterday) and the run itself was so tough! It's my R2 tomorrow and I am dreading it!
