Thanks to Lidl this newbie has just increased her running kit by more than double lol.

Sorry chaps I went for the mens running tops as I find them more roomy and I'm still conscious of all my wobble bits :s A pair of capris and long legs too, surprised how well they all fit.

I did get a pair of the running shoes too as you can see, have tried them on and they seem comfortable enough so may take them for a small test drive on my next run. Finances cannt quite run to more expensive ones at the moment, but one day ....

Lovely! I tried to get running top and shorts for my teenage son, but they had nothing in small.

That's the only thing you do have to rake through the baskets, not sure if they get more in during the week or if it's just what they have there :\ I found the medium ones fitted me just fine, I'm normally a 14.

I looked all the way through and there were no smalls. He's really skinny, so a medium wouldn't have worked. I just checked their website and the smallest they are stocking is medium. Anyway, selflessly looking for kit for my son gave me an excuse to go...

How much were the running shoes? I almost daren't say on here that I run in Skechers..

The only thing I spent out on were some warm leggings!!

They were 14.99, and they do half sizes too. The biggest size in ladies is 7, which was what I wanted luckily.

My wife used a pair of Lidl trainers which took her through c25k, no problem, they suited her neutral running gait..😊

Must admit surprised at how comfy they felt and seem to be made OK. Shiny shoes :D

Amazing bargains to be had! How long is the running stuff going to be available?

most of it will be cleared out by Sunday as they have another specials day We have two branches so if they sell out at one I nip to the other 🙂 I was there early 😀

A guy bought some running shoes but he tried them on first. They looked really good.

I liked the guy's patterned shirt 🙂

I may have to call in at Lidls later for some leggings. I was going to go for shoes but when I looked on line they only start at size 5, and I'm a 4. But I decided to check Mountain Warehouse and got a pair in their clearance at 25% of original price - very pleased with that and can't wait to try them out (along with the new purple top I succumbed to)
